About Pieper : Pieper Lecturers

John G. Pieper

John G. PieperFor over thirty-five years, J. Gardiner Pieper, J.D. (St. John's Law), LL.M. (NYU Law), has established himself as the expert on the New York State Bar Examination.  He knows what the New York and Multistate Bar Examiners require to successfully pass the Bar Exam, and has been lecturing students on all aspects of the New York Bar Exam since 1972.

John Pieper currently serves as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn, the City University of New York, Fordham, Hofstra and Touro Law Schools. He also serves as a practicing attorney and as a New York State Magistrate.  For eight years, he was a visiting lecturer on New York's CPLR at Suffolk University Law School and New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, for law students from Suffolk, New England, Boston College, Boston University, and Harvard Law Schools. 

Mr. Pieper is admitted in the following thirty jurisdictions:  Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming after successfully taking the Multistate Bar Examination in each of these jurisdictions.

Troy G. Pieper

Troy G. PieperAfter departing the New York City office of Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft LLP, Troy G. Pieper, J.D. (St. John's Law) joined Pieper Bar Review as its Director. Troy also lectures and tutors individual students on all aspects of the Bar Exam. He has successfully taken the Bar Exam in New York and Connecticut, and serves as an adjunct professor at and bar exam consultant to Brooklyn, the City University of New York, Fordham, Hofstra and Touro Law Schools.

Damian J. Pieper

Damian J. PieperIn the fall of 2007, Damian J. Pieper, J.D. (St. John's Law) left the New York offices of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., where he was a senior associate in the litigation department, to join Pieper Bar Review.  Damian successfully passed the New York Bar Exam in 2001, currently lectures on sales contracts and evidence, and is an adjunct professor at Brooklyn Law School.  He also coordinates Pieper Bar Review's Advanced Tutoring Program, tutors individual students on all aspects of the Bar Exam, and heads Pieper's Staff Attorneys who respond to student questions submitted by phone and email.

Note: Since you are investing an enormous amount of time and effort to prepare for the New York State Bar Examination, we encourage you to consider maximizing your return by sitting for a second state's bar examination.  Please peruse the above websites to learn more about the local bar examinations given in neighboring states on the Thursday, immediately following the New York and Multistate exams given on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July, respectively.  By following the procedures outlined therein, you can in just three days take two bars and become admitted to practice in two states.
