Pieper Bar Review : Refund Policy

FULL BAR REVIEW COURSE:

$200 Deposit is non-refundable, but the rest of any payments that have been applied are refundable prior to the start of classes. Once classes have begun, if a candidate wishes to withdraw from the course, he/she must return his/her admission card to our office and a refund will be issued as follows:

Lectures 1 through 6: $700 plus $200 = $900 non-refundable

Lectures 7 through 12: $1,300 plus $200 = $1,500 non-refundable

Lectures 13 through 18: $1,600 plus $200 = $1,800 non-refundable.

After Lecture 18: No Refunds

The admission card will be deemed returned upon the date of the postmark on the envelope in which the card is returned if the candidate has ceased attending lectures.

HOME STUDY:

The cost of the Pieper Home Study program is $3,395 for either DVD's or iPod, plus a $550 refundable DVD/iPod deposit (DVD & iPod total $3,945).

Upon timely return of the DVDs/iPod, we will refund the DVD/iPod deposit, minus actual shipping expenses incurred by Pieper and any late return fees. Late fees are deducted from the DVD/iPod deposit at a rate of $100 per week starting two weeks after the bar exam. Once the DVD/iPod deposit is exhausted, because of the difficulty of producing proof of damages caused by the failure to return these discs, you agree to pay (a) liquidated damages in the amount of $3,000 and (b) attorneys fees incurred by Pieper to collect said amount and to recover possession of said discs. Please note also that failure to return rented property may subject the delinquent party to criminal prosecution (NYPL §165.00).

As we have a limited number and concerns for the integrity of our copyright, other than the $550 refundable deposit that is payable upon timely return of the leased materials after the exam, once shipped from Pieper, the Home Study program is non-refundable.
